The next step after getting one of these toys is to go to the Webkinz website at webkinz.com. By clicking on the "New Member” link on the front page of the website the user will be sent to a new window. The user will then need to click on the "My First Adoption” icon on the menu. The Secret Code that is included with the Webkinz that the user has will need to be entered. This code can be found on the ankle of the stuffed toy.
A secret code name and password for the individual user will need to be created. It is vital that the user does not give the information to anyone else. This name will be used by the user to keep track of virtual pets that the person has and the records that the user has.
When registering Webkinz after one has created an account it should be noted that the same account that the user created can be used for multiple registered animals.
