Webkinz Whimsical Dragon

The Webkinz Whimsical Dragon was released in 2008. It was the first dragon that Ganz added to their collection. You will also find this dragon going by the name of Whimsy. This stuffed plush mythical toy is very popular and looks great, even in pink.

When it was first released, there was a rumor going around that the fabric to make the wings was too expensive and hard to find in order to continue production on Whimsy. Many believed that this would cause the Whimsical Dragon to be placed on the retired webkinz list. Lucky for us this was not the case. There was a time when you would see this toy being sold on ebay for as much as $50.

One of the downsides with the Dragon is that the wings will come off if it is not treated delicately. If a small child is playing with it then there is a good chance that the wings will get torn off easily. If you take care of it and don’t play too rough then it will last forever like any other toy. It just needs some tender loving care.

Webkinz Dragons are some of my favorite Webkinz stuffed animals to collect. I have always been a fan of a fantasy books and mythical creatures, so when Ganz began introducing dragons, the unicorn, and pegasus; I was of course very excited. There are now a number of stuffed plush dragon toys to choose from.

It looks like the trend is going to continue on and we will be seeing more mythical stuffed animals to be released in the future. Right now dragons, flying horses, unicorns, and monsters have all been released adding great variety to the toy line. These stuffed animals are extremely popular with the Webkinz fan community.
